Speak with one of our travel consultants today about arranging a bespoke vacation in this property.
This magnificent castle hotel in Scotland was built in 1863 near the site of the original 13th century fortress. Queen Victoria stayed here in 1873, when it was a private home, and found it the most romantic and lovely spot. It was a private house for over 100 years until 1969 when it was converted into one of the finest country house hotels in Scotland. Due to the wonderful location there are plentiful opportunities for outdoor activities such as golf, white water rafting, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting, off road driving and in winter, if there is enough snow, skiing and snowboarding. There are also opportunities for a wide range of sporting & country pursuits.
