Cowdray House is a beautiful English country house and is the old family home of Lord and Lady Cowdray. Today it is a fabulous, exclusive use venue for country house parties, corporate events and special celebrations.
Situated in amongst 16,500 acres of the Cowdray Estate in West Sussex, England and 110 acres of it’s own private gardens. It has stunning views, magnificent gardens, fascinating architecture and beautiful interiors. There is an abundance of activities which can be enjoyed on the estate such as polo, golf, shooting, fly fishing and other country pursuits. Cowdray House is well known for polo and it was home to the original polo ground, more commonly known as House Ground. Goodwood is nearby for motor enthusiasts.
Buck Hall is a vaulted minstrel’s gallery in the heart of the house. It has impressive stained glass windows and is ideal for dining for large numbers. The elegant croquet lawn has far-reaching views of the South Downs and is a superb setting to hold a drinks reception. There is also a grand wood paneled Dining Room, Library, elegant Morning Room and Drawing Room which all have stunning views.

This English country house sleeps 30 people in 15 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The vaulted Minstrel’s gallery, known as Buck Hall, can seat up to 140 people. For larger parties, there is a croquet lawn next door which can hold a marquee for 350. There is an elegant drawing room which can be used for entertaining along with two other main reception rooms. It is an ideal venue for entertaining on a large and grand scale.
Cowdray House is an ideal venue for corporate events and also for short and long term filming. Various activities can be arranged including off-road driving. There is both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, billiards room, tennis court and private bowling alley.
