It takes it’s design from the original Straffan House which is now the hotel at the world famous K Club. Straffan House is a contemporary Irish mansion which was built in 2005. It has been painstakingly constructed with architecture of a bygone era but with all the comforts and style of elegant, modern day living. The house is French in style and has been furnished to an exceedingly high standard as well as being home to many original artworks including works by Sir William Orpen and JB Yeats.

There are masses of outdoor activities and country pursuits that guests of Straffan House can enjoy including clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, archery and fishing on the River Liffey. Guests of Straffan House also have access to all the facilities of the K Club next door. For golf lovers there is direct access to The Palmer Ryder Cup Golf Course. There are kids clubs available at the K Club which children can take part in including golf camps.
