This is an incredibly grand and historic castle.  It has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and cleverly blends the modernized facilities with the traditional grandeur.  It is completely private and our clients can enjoy total exclusivity when staying here.  It would be difficult, probably impossible, to find anywhere in Ireland that matches this unique home.  Sleeping 27 guests and with a banqueting hall that seats 75, it is a magnificent venue in which to hold a very special celebration.  Only 1 hour from Cork airport, it is easy to reach and is surrounded by wonderful golf courses, coastal walks and beaches.  There is also superb salmon and sea trout fishing on the nearby River Blackwater.

One of the few magnificent castles in Ireland to have remained in the hands of the same family for centuries.  This 17th Century castle is a fine example of a top Irish castle for rent in order to entertain on a grand scale.  The castle has been lovingly and carefully restored and now offers extremely luxurious accommodation.  It has its own golf course and lough fishing on the estate as well as being well renowned for the gardens.  Sleeping 16 guests and offering a truly warm and friendly Irish welcome, it is a wonderful place for a very special multi generational family vacation.  There is lots to do on the estate and nearby including the Curragh Race Course, the River Boyne for salmon fishing and various parkland golf courses.  Only 1 1/2 hours from Belfast and an hour from Dublin, it is easy to reach.

If you are looking for a romantic setting, this beautiful Irish castle for rent could be the one for you.  Built in the early 17th Century by the English architect, Edward Blore, this castle is situated in the most stunning surroundings in amongst 1,900 acres of parkland.  The old ruined castle sits on the shore of the lough where many a Jacobite battle was fought.  If you enjoy walking, there are some spectacular walks and many wonderful places to explore.  The lough itself is one of the longest inland waterways in Europe and guests can enjoy boating and sailing on the lough to discover some of the many mysterious and magical islands.  Having offered just the west wing of the castle to guests in recent years, the family is now opening their doors for very special short stays.  This is where up to 16 guests can stay in a working castle, hosted by the family and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this extremely special place.  An absolute gem of a castle and a unique opportunity.
