If you enjoy watching the ballet, going to the opera or theatre we can arrange for the best seats in the house and are often able to obtain tickets for performances that are seemingly sold out. London is the centre of theatrical indulgence with shows such as Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre being once of the longest running shows since it began in 1999. The Phantom of the Opera, after more than 10,000 performances is still showing at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London and is a multi-award winning musical. Or perhaps you might be looking to see the funny and heart warming musical, Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre. Whatever you are interested in, we can come up with lots of ideas of performances for you to see.
The UK has some wonderful museums and art galleries. For example if you are based in or around Edinburgh, there is the Scottish National Gallery in the heart of Edinburgh which houses one of the best collections of fine art in the world. If you are a lover of modern and contemporary art, The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is a definite must to visit. The Museum of Childhood, also in Edinburgh, is a fascinating place and a fun day out for the whole family.
For book lovers there are number of literary festivals around the UK that all offer a different flavour into the world of writers. There is the Borders Book Festival held annually in June, in Melrose in the Scottish Borders. This is growing in size year on year and offers a lovely, informal way of listening to talks from authors, discussions, sampling local food and drink, listening to music and comedy with fun for all ages. There is also the winter Hay Festival at Hay Castle in Wales, which is a literary festival offering wonderful stories, vigorous debates and roaring fires. The success of this festival is evident as it is now held in various cities all over the world at different times of year including Peru, Colombia, Spain and Ireland.
Whatever you are keen to involve yourselves in, we can organise a wonderful, luxury cultural experience for you and all the family.
