Designed by acclaimed Boston architect Moshe Safdie and completed in 2003, the lodge is at the heart of a family owned 60,000 acre estate and is a true Highland wilderness. The lodge and it’s environs never fail to impress anyone lucky enough to experience it first-hand. You can hire Corrour Lodge, for exclusive use, and it’s magnificent gardens which combine 21st century luxury with the traditional feel of a highland estate. There are also a number of other estate cottages available for rental. FEATURES

When you stay in this fine, contemporary Scottish lodge you will find that it features a games room and snooker table as well as a state of the art sound system and communications technology. There is a sauna that looks out over the loch, where you can also take a dip or fish for wild brown trout. Walkers will appreciate the abundance of ‘Munro’s’ – mountains at least 3,000 feet high, and all the other opportunities to bag a ‘Corbett’ or ‘Graham’.

ATTRACTIONS

Pony trekking on Icelandic ponies, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting and stalking are all available on the estate. Further afield you are ideally placed for visits to the Isle of Skye, Loch Ness and the many local Whiskey Distilleries. Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain, is close by.
